What to do on the day

If you are travelling to the funeral by your own means leave in enough time to arrive at the funeral 20 mins before the appointed commencement time of the funeral. Depending on the location of the funeral parking may be difficult so bare this in mind.

If you are bringing music, orders of service, flowers or something to the funeral make sure you have a list or method of ensuing you bring it before you leave home. You personal arranger and conductor on the day is there to ensure everything runs according to your wishes. No request is too large or to small, just ask.

What to expect

On the day of the funeral service your emotions may changes many times. The circumstance surrounding the funeral will have a bearing on the range of emotions and number of changes you experience. It is important to identify that many of the people around you will also be experiencing the same emotions and changes but may also be in a diffent place emotionally at any given time.

I you are playing a role in the service take your time and if emotion overcomes you as it often does just wait for a moment before going on. Rember that everyone present at the service is there to help and support each other at one of life’s most difficult times.
